RKP's upcoming production - the next play

Conscience –
by Joe Dipietro
Between the Lavender Scare (homosexuality) and the Red Scare (communism), there was Margaret Chase Smith, R-Maine, the first woman voted to both houses of congress. She saw Joe McCarthy for who he was, calling him out in her speech: Declaration of Conscience.

"It is high time that we all stopped being tools and victims of totalitarian techniques—techniques that, if continued here unchecked, will surely end what we have come to cherish as the American way of life."

RKP — Who are we?

It all began when Dick Reichman and Robert Pond produced THE GLASS MENAGERIE in 2011, and conceived the idea of forming a theatre company. In 2014, Audrey and Bruce Kelly joined forces with Reichman and Pond and RKP Productions was formed.
Since then RKP has produced 18 plays, including one-acts and YouTube plays.
We were greatly saddened by the death of our founding partner, Robert Pond, in 2017.
RKP Productions strives to produce thought-provoking, meaningful works by partnering with other local theatre organizations. To date, their partners have included Cyranos Theatre Co, Anchorage Community Theatre, Elvira Voth Hall at the PAC and Out North. In 2019 RKP presented at the Anchorage Museum Theatre. This play company continues to be excited about a marvelous adventure in theatre and the unique place they hold among the impressive theatre programs that already exist in Anchorage.
In 2024, Jack Dalton, a known Alaska Native storyteller, playwright and actor, volunteered his creativity and expertise in graphic design to renovate the RKP website. This led to a new look and a new name: RKP Plays. Jack continues to volunteer his talents in various ways for the company. So far, poster and sound design.
